Alumetal aluminum sheets
1050 aluminum plate and strip is a product of pure aluminum plate
series, which is similar to 1060 series products in chemical
composition and mechanical properties, and is basically replaced by
1060 aluminum plate and strip in application. The last two Arabic
numerals of the 1050 series are 50. According to the naming
principle of international brands, the qualified products must have
aluminum content above 99.5%. China's aluminum alloy technical
standard (GB/T3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that the aluminum
content of 1050 shall reach 99.5%. Because it does not contain
other technical elements, the production process is relatively
simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly
used series in conventional industries. Industrial pure aluminum
has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance,
good conductivity and thermal conductivity, but low strength. It is
not strengthened by heat treatment and has poor machinability.
Contact welding and gas welding are acceptable.
