Multiple Outputs Operating Principle
pipeline electromagnetic flowmeter is one type of flowmeter with
high accuracy and reliability. It can measure the flow rate of
conductive liquid and slurry in a closed pipeline, Its measurement
principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.
That is, when the conductive liquid cuts the magnetic lines in the
magnetic field, the induced electromotive force is generated in the
conductor:
E=KBVD
K: instrument constant B: magnetic induction intensity
V: average flow rate in the cross section of the measuring tube
D: inner diameter of the measuring tube
When measuring the flow rate, the fluid flows through a magnetic
field perpendicularly to the flow direction. The flow of conductive
liquid induces a voltage signal proportional to the average flow
rate (i.e. volume flow rate). The induced voltage signal is
detected by two electrodes in direct contact with the liquid,
transmitted to the amplifier through the cable, and finally,
converted into a unified current output signal.
Pipeline Electromagnetic Flowmeter Design Feature
◎ Measurement accuracy is not affected by the changes of fluid
density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity.
◎ There are no flow-obstructing parts in the measuring pipe, no
pressure loss, and low requirements for straight pipe sections.
◎ The converter adopts liquid crystal backlight display, which can
make reading in direct sunlight or dark room easy.
Setting parameters through infrared touch keys can be safely set
without opening the cover of the converter in harsh environment.
◎ Flowmeter is a two-way measuring system with three integrators:
forward, reverse and total difference; Can display forward and
reverse flow.
◎ It has multiple outputs: current, pulse, digital communication,
HART.
◎ The converter has the functions of self-diagnosis alarm output,
empty load detection alarm output, flow upper and lower limit alarm
output, batch control and so on.
◎ It can be used not only for general process detection, but also
for the measurement of pulp, paper pulp and paste liquid.
◎ High-voltage electromagnetic flowmeter adopts PFA screen lining
technology, which is resistant to high pressure and negative
pressure, and is specially used in petrochemical and mineral
industries.
◎ Explosion-proof instruments can be used in corresponding
explosion-proof places.
