70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for preoperative patient skin
preparation, the most effective skin antiseptic, is now available
in an innovative wipe Sub stick technology. To meet the stringent
clinical requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
for New Drug Applications (NDAs), the new CHGPrep swab sticks are
more potent than traditional iodophors or alcohol. The product has
been designed with significantly improved performance to the
satisfaction of many clinicians. Considered the most exciting
breakthrough in preservatives since povidone-iodine.
