How the product works:
- When the military aviation phase change material is in an
environment where the temperature is lower than its phase change
temperature, the material is in a solid state.
- With the increase of the ambient temperature, when the temperature
reaches the phase change temperature of the phase change material,
the material begins to undergo phase change, from solid to liquid.
- During this phase change, the material absorbs a lot of heat, but
its temperature remains basically the same. On the contrary, when
the ambient temperature is lowered below the phase change
temperature, the phase change material will change from liquid to
solid, and at the same time release the heat previously absorbed,
thus playing a role in regulating the temperature.
- For example, in the electronics bay of an aircraft, where the
electronics generate a lot of heat when they work, the phase change
material is placed around the electronics, and when the temperature
is raised to the phase change temperature of the phase change
material, the material absorbs the heat and reduces the temperature
around the device. When the device stops working and the
temperature drops, the phase change material releases heat to
prevent the device from getting too cold.

1. Turbine blade cooling

uses a cooling system containing phase change materials. When the
blade temperature rises to the phase change temperature of phase

effectively reducing the blade temperature and preventing the blade
from being damaged due to overheating.
