1. The function of the import pipe
The main function of the inlet pipe of the expansion tank is to introduce the coolant of the circulating cooling system. The coolant enters the expansion tank through the inlet pipe, and then circulates through the water pipe to the engine circulation cooling system for cooling.

2. The function of the outlet pipe

The main function of the outlet pipe of the expansion water tank is to discharge the cooled coolant out of the expansion water tank and allow it to flow back into the engine circulation cooling system.

3. The function of the overflow pipe
The main function of the overflow pipe of the expansion water tank is to discharge excess coolant when overpressure occurs in the engine circulation cooling system, and automatically eliminate it through the pressure relief valve in the cover of the expansion water tank. This protects the engine's circulating cooling system from damage due to pressure build-up. The overflow pipe is usually located on the side or top of the expansion tank.
