Customized Factory Wholesale BSO BSOA BSOS M4 Hex Blind Threaded Standoffs
Import and Export Trading Threaded rivet inserts Self Clinching Standoffs
The rivet nut column can be divided into four types from the
material and the form of internal thread: fast cutting steel
through hole rivet nut column SO type, stainless steel through hole
rivet nut column SOS type, fast cutting steel blind hole rivet nut
column BSO type and stainless steel blind hole rivet nut column
BSOS type, which are respectively used in different environments.
There is no specific national standard for rivet nuts. The early
manufacturers came from the United States and gradually formed
today's industry standard after being introduced into China. Most
of the domestic manufacturers are from suzhou in Jiangsu province
and Dongguan in Guangdong Province.

Product Detail
1. What are self clinching standoffs?
Self-clinching standoffs provide a solution when design engineers
need to space panels and components in their metal enclosures. They
are used to stack parts or keep components a defined distance from
the panel in which they are installed.
2. What is a PEM standoff?
PEM® self-clinching standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching
design, provide ideal solutions for applications where mounting,
spacing or stacking of panels, boards or components are required.
Pressed into round holes, these fasteners mount permanently into
metal sheets as thin as . 025” / 0.63 mm.
3. How do self clinching fasteners work?
Self-Clinching fasteners work by utilizing a special clinch
feature. When the part is pressed into the hole, the parent
material is displaced and cold-flows into the clinch feature,
effectively locking the fastener into the panel, providing
excellent torque-out and push-out performance.
4. How do you install a self-clinching stud?
PEM® self-clinching studs are easily installed by placing them in
properly sized holes in sheets and squeezing into place with any
standard press: Install permanently in aluminum, steel or stainless
steel in sheets as thin as . 020” / 0.51 mm. High torque-out and
pushout resistances.
5. What is a clinch nut used for?
Clinch nuts are self-clinching, internally threaded nuts that are
pressed into the base material. Often times, these high strength
fasteners are used in material that is too thin to tap threads.
