Mezzanine rack system is a multilevel storage solution which can greatly utilize vertical space and improve operational efficiency without expanding the warehouse. Depending on the available airspace, it can be two-layer or three-layer so as to double or even triple the floor space of your warehouse. By dividing your warehouse into two or three parts, the layout of the warehouse can be systematically organized and the increased floor space can be used for work areas as well as storage space.

There are two types of mezzanine systems in terms of different structures, namely structural steel mezzanine and rack supported mezzanine. The former is established directly on the warehouse floor and the whole frame is supported by steel columns, while the latter is built based on the existing racks and the rack uprights support the overhead platforms.

In order to ensure safety and work efficiency, there are several accessories and components indispensable for mezzanine rack systems, including staircases, handrails, safety gates, loading gates, guard rails, conveyors and so on. In consideration of load capacity and cost, the secondary platform can be decked with various materials, for example, timber, steel, plywood and mesh grating.
